Thanks for visiting the site.  We know that you want to get active or you wouldn’t be here in the first place.  Well we are going to attempt to make it easy for you. 

Where to start…

• Come out to a meeting and network with like-minded people.  Our meetings are very informative and you can learn a lot about current events/NC policy issues, and meet elected officials.  Please let us know that you are attending so we can look out for you (not necessary-just helpful). 

• Get involved in a Wake YPR Committee.  Show your talents.  Help raise money, coordinate campaign activities, organize social events, recruit new members, or assist in our public relations activities.  Your help is needed. 

• Attend the North Carolina Federation of Young Professional Republicans annual Convention.  This is where you will be able to learn about all the other opportunities to get involved on the young Republican state and national levels.  

Take it to the NEXT LEVEL...

• Once active in Wake YPRs, promote the youth movement in the Republican Party by getting active in the Wake GOP.  Attend your Precinct Meeting/County Convention where party leaders are elected.  These leaders directly affect the attention given to those under 40 years old. 

• Next step... the North Carolina GOP.  Did you know you can have an impact on the head of your state Republican Party?  It is quite easy to become a delegate and cast a vote for your choice.  All you have to do is attend your local Precinct meeting and your County Convention.  You can also attend your Congressional District convention and become an elected member of the State Executive Committee which is the governing body of the North Carolina Republican Party.
